BAAKO is best enjoyed chilled, but it can safely be stored at room temperature because it is shelf-stable. When our Founder, Omaru, started sampling BAAKO at his social events, he kept it in the fridge for at least 12 hours and saw that his family and friends appreciated that.

BAAKO is perfect at any time of the day! I have experienced and heard it all - as a morning refresher, post gym and any high energy activity, compliment to lunch, daily pick-me-up at the office or any setting, daily snack, as a pre and/or after dinner treat, at a social gathering, and the list goes on. The options are just simply endless.

It is a really simple and easy math, one can = one serving!

BAAKO is simply a cultural movement. This gender-neutral name comes from the Akan language in Ghana translating to “first-born child”, a reflection of the journey we’ve been on to be a people-centric company that creates connections across the world through great taste and flavors.

Water :
Water is used in all of our flavors.

Ginger :
Farm-grown ginger sourced from India is a clean ingredient that contributes to some flavors.

coconut
For our Coconut Lemonade flavor, natural coconut sourced from India in its purest form adds a lot of taste and freshness to this flavor.

Hibiscus Flower:
For our Hibiscus Watermelon flavor, Ghanaian and Ivorian grown hibiscus flowers bring a prickly taste to the flavor.

Stevia Leaf Extract:
A small dose of stevia leaf extract is used to add sweet to each flavor. Stevia is a no-calorie sweetener permitted by the FDA for use in food supply

ABSOLUTELY!!! We sourced only the best and natural ingredients from around the world. Additionally all of BAAKO flavors are low in calories with no added sugar. 

Yes! We recommend you start with one can, then work your way to two can (or more!) if it feels right!

It is absolutely okay and normal to see pulp or sediment in some of the BAAKO flavors. BAAKO flavors with hibiscus flower may contain sediment due to brewing of the hibiscus flower leaf. This is commonly seen in tea after brewing. Pulps can also appear in some flavors with natural fruit juices.

We use natural ingredients, but is not certified organic
It is vegan, but not certified vegan.
It is gluten-free, but not certified gluten-free.
All of BAAKO’s flavors are non-GMO certified.  
All of BAAKO’s flavors are Kosher certified..

Yes! BAAKO is better for you and has a great taste compared to traditional sugary sodas. Our Founder, Omaru, 4 nieces (ages ranging from 3, 5, 10, 12) tasted our flavors when he was developing the flavors and now they are our biggest fans.

We will never save or sell  your payment or personal information. We like to keep things between and safe.

BAAKO ships throughout the United States. At this time, we do not ship internationally. However, keep an eye out as we grow - we absolutely hope to be in your country and communities soon! Join us on our journey at our social media platforms on the bottom on this website.

We do not deliver to U.S. territories, protectorates, P.O. Boxes, military installations (APO/FPO addresses), and diplomatic posts (DPO addresses). And this is due to limitations that prevent us from shipping products to these geographical locations.

Making sure you receive your BAAKO flavors in time to enjoy is a top priority for our entire team. Generally, you will receive your BAAKO within 7-10 business days of the day purchased. You will receive an email with confirmation and tracking details once your order has shipped.

For individual orders of $100 or more, we offer free shipping via UPS or FedEx

Please keep an eye out - sometimes packages are marked as delivered even though they are still on their way to you to enjoy BAAKO. If you still do not see your BAAKO delights after 48 hours, please send our team an email at hello@drinkbaako.com and we will take care of it for you
